La Tarifa Atelier

The La Tarifa Atelier is part of our shop in Hilversum, the Netherlands, and is all about jewellery making, creativity, craftsmanship and personal service. This is where we create jewellery for our own collection, carry out jewellery repairs, make custom orders, host workshops and offer ear piercing.

Having our atelier inside the shop means we have an extensive collection of gemstones, beads, Miyuki beads, charms and jewellery components right at hand. This gives us plenty of possibilities to combine materials, find a suitable component for a repair or create a personal piece of jewellery together.

Make Your Own Jewellery at Our Atelier Table

Bought your materials in our shop and want to get started straight away? You’re welcome to use our large atelier table to create your own jewellery independently with the materials you have purchased from us.

Basic jewellery-making tools are available for you to use, so there is no need to buy everything yourself before getting started. You can combine colours, beads and components on the spot and immediately see how your design comes together.

The atelier table is available when it is not being used for a workshop or another atelier activity.

Jewellery Repairs & Custom-Made Jewellery

Has a necklace or bracelet broken, would you like to have beads restrung or an existing piece of jewellery altered? Bring it to our atelier and we’ll be happy to explore the possibilities.

You can also visit us for a personal piece of jewellery or a custom order. Together, we can choose materials, colours and components to suit your idea.

Jewellery-Making Workshops

La Tarifa has been hosting jewellery-making workshops for many years. At our large atelier table, you can work with beads, gemstones, Miyuki beads and different jewellery-making techniques with our guidance.

You can join one of our workshops individually or arrange a workshop for a group. During the workshop, we’ll guide you step by step as you create your own piece of jewellery.

Ear Piercing

You can also have your ears pierced at La Tarifa. We use the Studex System 75 and take our time to determine the right placement and explain the aftercare.
